Fitness Assessments
Professional fitness assessment with Fitness Coordinators Maggie & Becca. Check your flexibility, balance, and cardio endurance. Evaluate your current level of activity and use these measures to set goals. Days and times vary, call for your appointment in advance. $5 BT Resident.

Garden Meditation Day & Live Cooking Demo Friday, May 3 • 10:30-1 PM. Fitness Coordinator Maggie Barclay will share the benefits of meditation and lead us on seated breathwork and muscle relation techniques in a serene, indoor garden setting. Give yourself the time to just breathe. Following the meditation will be a live healthy cooking demonstration by Mary Spencer. Watch as she makes two healthy meal options. Great for beginner or experienced cooks. Complimentary BT Res/ $3 Non Res

Hearing Screening Thursday, May 9 • 9-11 AM.
Get your free hearing screening onsite at the Senior Center. Call for an appointment. Screenings provided by Hinderliter Hearing Services.

Balance Screening Friday, May 24 • 10-1 PM
Get your free balance screening in only 5 minutes. Obtain your current level of balance and how you can improve it. This simple test may prevent future falls. Drop in.

Don’t Let Your Stress Manage You! & Tai Chi Performance Wednesday, May 29• 10:15-11:15 AM Join Jewish Family Services for this workshop that focuses on helping people recognize the stress process and learn to interrupt it early in the cycle, before it escalates. Techniques & specific model for understanding the effects of stress on our emotions, brains and bodies. Following the workshop, at 11:30 AM enjoy a beautiful performance by our Tai Chi instructors and students! Complimentary.

Music for Wellness Friday, May 31 • 9:30-11 AM.
Start the day with a gentle seated stretch to relaxing music with Fitness Coordinator Maggie Barclay. Followed by Singing for Wellness featuring artist Michael Krieger performing songs from the 60’s & 70’s. Complimentary BT Res/$3 Non Res.

Senior Center 15th Anniversary Luncheon • Wednesday, June 12 • 12-2 PM • $15 per person
Enjoy lunch from Barlow's BBQ, live music entertainment with modern-day crooner Jeffrey Cavataio and a fun photo booth from Roth Productions are all included. 2024 marks 15 years since the Senior Center first opened its doors to the community. Join us in celebrating this momentous occasion! Friends & family welcome!

Independence Day Indoor Picnic Lunch Date & Patriotic Music Celebration! • Monday, July 1 • 12:30-2:30 PM
Meet friends to enjoy great conversations over a delicious lunch at the center. The Ed Black Jazz band will perform with a Patriotic Celebration of our Nation! $15 per meal. Box lunch catered by Long Lake Market. Please order by June 26. meal includes a turkey sandwich, lettuce, tomato, cheese on wheat bread, side of house made caprese salad, pickle, and a red, white, and blue dessert.

Senior Housing Tours with Meal
