Bloomfield Township precincts were consolidated from 18 to 12 last summer and voting locations have been reduced to 10. This action was the result of a 7-month study undertaken by my office that included dozens of community members who work elections, the Township Board of Trustees, and the Township Election Commission.
As a result, we will save money by adjusting resources away from Election Day voting and toward Absentee and Early Voting while continuing to ensure that the voter’s Election Day experience remains efficient and secure.
