Support outdoor recreational and cultural activities for all ages and abilities while encouraging a thriving retail and hospitality presence.

Status
- On September 28, 2025, the Township hosted its Annual Open House, which included partnerships with Oakland County Parks and Recreation, Bloomfield Hills School District, Bloomfield Township Public Library, and Oakland County Health Department.
- Continuing to look for opportunities to plan more community events.
Performance Measure
Maintain/increase resident satisfaction with the recreational opportunities in the Township measured by a community survey within three years.
Status
- Senior Services attracted 597 new customers in 2025 and hosted 47,127 visits to the center.
- Senior Services completed relaunch of Friendship Club to serve people experiencing dementia.

Status
Supervisor McCready attended 5 ribbon cuttings. In addition, the Township is home to several new restaurants and dining options:
- Side Car Slider Bar
- Tee Times
- Green Lantern Pizza
- Kaku Sushi and Poke expansion
- Dunkin remodel
- Plum Market expansion
Performance Measure
Complete an inventory of potential green spaces.
Status
On January 15, 2025, elected officials toured several potential green space properties with Chris Ward, Director of Oakland County Parks.
Performance Measure
Conduct a feasibility study of green space viability within 18 months of inventory completion.
Status
Oakland County voters passed a parks millage in November 2024 that will generate approximately $24 million annually for parks, trails, farmers market and programming. Elected officials asked Oakland County to investigate areas in the Township for parks and green spaces.
