At BCTV, new community producers are creating video content and podcasts that tell local stories to educate and enlighten residents on popular topics. The latest to join the BCTV lineup of community-originated programming are Immersive Health with Jacqueline and Stir the Coco.
Immersive Health with Jacqueline – Jacqueline Drake is a nurse, artist, life coach and psychedelic integration therapist at The Drake Center for Mental Health. Drake uses Virtual Reality (VR) in her clinical practice to help patients integrate their experiences, heal trauma, and create new pathways for self-discovery. Immersive Health with Jacqueline explores the intersection of technology, creativity, and healing.
Viewers will be introduced to immersive tools, like VR, which help people move, heal, and reconnect with themselves. Early episodes highlight the powerful mind-body connection in VR and the remarkable mental and physical transformations happening every day in our communities. Future episodes with feature interviews with developers, coaches, and companies working in the healing immersive space to share resources on this immerging topic.
“Working with BCTV has been a dream—it’s a supportive, collaborative space where creative ideas come to life. For anyone considering launching a show or podcast, this is the place to do it. The team is encouraging, professional, and genuinely invested in sharing meaningful stories with the community,” says Drake.
