With winter weather in full effect, there’s never a better time to remind residents that Senior Services offers transportation not just to the Senior Center – but for medical appointments and day trips as well. Last year,
the department provided over 5,000 rides and looks to expand on that number this year with a new offering.
“We are pleased to partner with Bianco tours, a leader in group travel since 1979,” says Senior Services Director Christine Tvaroha. “Their professional drivers and luxury coaches allow us to visit destinations across Michigan.” Longer than the standard day trip, attendees can look forward to planned trips to Marshall, Saugatuck, and Traverse City.
