CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD 
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS 
TUESDAY, JULY 14, 2026, at 6:30 P.M.

The following appeals will be heard:

  1. The owner of the property at 4831 Ballantrae Rd., is seeking approval for Dimensional Variance Requests for a generator located in the front yard and not immediately adjacent to the structure.  
  2. The owner of the property at 1236 Desiax Ave., is seeking approval for a Permission request for an 8 ft. by 10 ft. by 7 ft. high shed located in the rear yard and a least 16ft. from all property lines.
  3. The owner of the property at 1205 Leinbach Ave. is seeking approval for a Permission Request for a 13 ft. by 8 ft. by 8 ft. high shed located in the rear yard and at least 16 ft. from all property lines.
  4. The owner of the property at 3431 Devon Brook Dr. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Requests for an existing invisible dog fence enclosing the perimeter of the property and located in the Devon Brook Dr. frontage, encroaching 8 ft. into the required 16 ft. side yard setbacks and 17 ft. into the required 25 ft. rear yard setback.  
  5. The owner of the property at 7318 Lindenmere Dr. is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Requests for chickens, chicken coop and enclosure located in the rear yard and at least 16ft. from all property lines on a 0.57 acre property, farm activity requires a minimum of 40 acres.  
  6. The owner of the property at 193 Wadsworth Ln., is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Request for the following items a 14 ft. high gas fireplace with 4 ft. high masonry landscape walls extending on each side, located in the rear yard and setback at least 16 ft. from all lot lines.  
  7. The owner of the property at 377 Kendry Dr., is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Request for a 6ft. high fence located in the Square Lake Rd. secondary frontage, Section 4 Colonial Hills 1 Lot 157.
  8. The owner of the property at 2852 Masefield Ct., is seeking approval for a Permission Request for a 9 ft. by 7 ft. 7 in. by 3 ft. 2 in. high spa located in the rear yard located 16ft. from all setbacks.  
  9. The owner of the property at 3038 Betsy Ross Dr., is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Request for a 12 ft. by 12 ft. by 12 ft. high shed located in 16 ft. from all setbacks, an existing 10ft. by 8 ft. by 12 ft. high play structure encroaching 10 ft. into the required 16 ft. side yard setback.
  10. The owner of the property at 6487 Sunningdale Dr., is seeking approval for Dimensional Variance Requests for a 6 ft. high fence located in the Maple Rd. secondary frontage.  
  11. The owner of the property at 344 Tilbury Rd., is seeking approval for Permission Requests and Dimensional Variance Requests for the following items, Section 26 & 27 Judson Bradway’s Bloomfield Village Lot 202:
    1. A 4 ft. 2 in. by 3 ft. 4 in. high water feature located in the southerly side yard and encroaching 9 ft. 5 in. into the required 16 ft. side yard setback.
    2. A 22 ft. 5 in. by 3 ft. high bench located in the rear yard 16 ft. from all setbacks
    3. A 32 ft. 9 in. by 9 ft. high trellis located in the rear yard 16 ft. from all setbacks
  12. The owner of the property at 580 S. Cranbrook Rd., is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance requests for a 4 ft. high vinyl dog enclosure fence located in the S. Cranbrook Cross Dr. secondary frontage and setback 3 ft. from the front property line, encroaching 9 ft. into the required 16 ft. side yard setback and an existing fence encroaching 25 ft. into the required northerly rear yard setback.  
  13. The owner of the property at 350 Concord Pl. is requesting a Dimensional Variance Request for a 6 ft. high fence located in the rear yard.  
  14. The owner of the property at 3868 Millspring Rd., is seeking Permission Requests and Dimensional Variance Requests for the following structures located on a raised patio:
    1. A 21 ft. by 39 ft. by 18 ft. high pavilion with a woodburning fireplace
    2. An 8 ft. by 8 ft. by 3 ft. spa located on the raised patio
  15. The owner of the property at 5155 Kings Gate Way., is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Requests for an existing invisible dog fence encroaching 7 ft, into the required 25 ft. rear yard setback and 10 ft. into the required 16 ft. side yard setback, also located in the Kings Gate Way. and Lake Crescent Rd. frontages.
  16. The owner of the property at 443 Fox River Dr., is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variance Request for a 16 ft. by 12 ft. by 10 ft. existing gazebo, located in the Opdyke Rd. secondary frontage. 
  17. The owner of the property at 6751 White Pine Ct., is seeking approval for a Permission Request and Dimensional Variances for an existing invisible dog fence encroaching 16 ft. into the required 16 ft. easterly side yard setback and 25 ft. into the required 25 ft. southerly rear yard setback, also located in the northerly White Pine Ct. frontage and the westerly White Pine Dr. frontage. 
  18. The owner of the property at 6400 Telegraph Rd., Seeking approval for Dimensional Variance Requests for a generator located in the northerly side yard and not immediately adjacent to the building.
