The Bloomfield Township Police Department only accepts cash or checks. Sorry, we cannot process credit or debit card payments.

Bloomfield Township residents who have been involved in a traffic crash within the Township will be able to download a copy of their report via the Oakland County CLEMIS website.

You will need the following information: Incident number and date of crash or your license number, date of birth and date of crash.

This new system will not only make it more convenient for residents to obtain copies of accident reports, it will greatly reduce the waiting time.

The online document management technology allows interested parties to view and download printable copies of accident reports 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Reports are usually available within 48 hours of the date the crash was reported. Instead of taking time to make a trip to the Police Department, residents will be able to order their report anytime, day or night.

There are a limited number of crashes that require investigation beyond the initial report. Additional information resulting from these investigations may not be available until such investigations are complete.

If you wish to purchase an accident report from the Records Unit of the Bloomfield Township Police Department you may still do so during normal business hours, Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Holidays excluded.
