LET US “NEVER FORGET” THOSE WHO GAVE ALL SO WE MAY LIVE IN FREEDOM
The Bloomfield Township Fire Department has an extraordinary memorial displayed at Central Fire Station’s main entrance in commemoration of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. A fragment of steel from the World Trade Center, with symbolic markings, is encased and mounted for permanent display at Central Station in memory of nearly 3000 people, including 343 firefighters, who died that day from the attack on the World Trade Center. Take notice of this display on your next visit to Central Fire Station.
