The Village at Bloomfield
The Village at Bloomfield is a mixed use development currently under construction on the east side of Telegraph Road, north of Square Lake Road. Southfield based Redico took over the property in 2015 and since then numerous developments have been approved by the Joint Development Council (Bloomfield Township and City of Pontiac), which oversees the majority of the 87-acre site, with approximately 5 acres located solely within Bloomfield Township. To date, the approvals include an 84,000 sq. ft. Henry Ford Health medical center, a 22,000 sq. ft. Aldi grocery store, a 240,000 sq. ft. Menards home improvement store, 432 multiple family residential units being developed by Edward Rose and Sons, a commercial strip building, and a 101 room Hampton Inn and Suites hotel. Additionally, both Aldi and Hampton Inn and Suites introduced their newly branded architectural designs that will be unveiled with this development. The video below gives a bird’s eye view of the development site.
