The Planning Division ensures that the long-range land use
planning for the Township follows the defined goals of the
community through review of all development activity. It
provides professional administrative staff to the Planning
Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals and Design Review Board.
Administrative duties include preparation of agendas,
coordination of reviews and public notification. Additional
staff duties are site development inspection, review of
construction permits for zoning ordinance compliance, site
plan review, design and sign review and processing of all
rezoning and lot split requests.
Zoning Board of Appeals, Site Plan Review and Design Review
Board applications are all filed with the Planning Division.
Applications for Lot Splits and Rezoning Requests are also
submitted initially to the Planning Division.
The Planning Division is located with the Planning,
Building & Ordinance Department in the lower level of the
Township Hall.
