NEW CENTRAL FIRE STATION
THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD
The Charter Township of Bloomfield will receive firm prime
contractor bids for the New Central Fire Station located
within the Charter Township of Bloomfield. The work will
consist of structural, architectural, plumbing, mechanical, &
electrical work.
The bidding documents consist of plans and specifications
as prepared by CDPA Architects, Inc., Southfield, MI.
Documents may be obtained with a $50.00/set refundable deposit
payable to The George W. Auch Company at the office of the
Construction Manager, George W. Auch Company, 735 South
Paddock Street, Pontiac, MI., 48341, 248.334.2000, on or after
June 17, 2008.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 3:00 PM, June 25, 2008,
at the Charter Township of Bloomfield Central Fire Station.
Located at, 4200 Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI, 48303.
The envelope bearing your proposal must
identify your company and the proposal being bid and
addressed to the attention of Mr. Dennis Smith, Project
Manager, The George W. Auch Company, 735 South Paddock Street,
Pontiac, MI, 48341. Bids must be delivered no later than
12:00 noon, Thursday, July 3, 2008 to The George W.
Auch Company at the address noted above. Each proposal must be
submitted on the forms furnished by the Construction Manager
and must be completed in full. Each proposal shall be sealed
in an opaque envelope and marked with the name of the bidder
and proposals that are bid. A bid bond executed by a U.S.
Treasury Listed Surety Company acceptable to the Township
and CM, or a cashier’s check in the amount of at least 5% of
the sum of the proposal payable to the Charter Township of
Bloomfield shall be submitted with each proposal in excess of
$20,102.00. All proposals shall be firm for a period of sixty
(60) days.
Bids will be publicly opened and read at a
meeting at the Charter Township of Bloomfield Board Room at
4200 Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI, 48302 starting at
1:00 PM, July 3, 2008.
Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more will
be required to furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment
Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid. The cost of the Bond
shall be included in each proposal.
The Charter Township of Bloomfield reserves the right to
reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part and to waive
any informalities therein. The Charter Township of Bloomfield
reserves the right to accept the bid which in its opinion, is
in the best interest of the Owner.
