VOTE AUGUST 5, 2008
PRIMARY ELECTION
In a primary election the members of each party nominate
candidates of their party for the general election. Voters may
vote for candidates in one party only. Also included on the
ballot are nonpartisan offices and state and local ballot
proposals.

The polls will be open on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, from
7:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the following locations:

HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE. BRAILLE AND AUDIO VERSIONS OF VOTING
INSTRUCTIONS ARE AVAILABLE.
NEW VOTING EQUIPMENT FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES WILL
BE AVAILABLE.
As of the November 6, 2007 election, every Michigan
voter who votes at the polls must show picture identification
or sign an affidavit attesting that he or she is not in
possession of picture identification. A ballot cannot be
issued unless the voter displays picture identification or
signs the affidavit.
