2010 Woodward Dream Cruise Classic Car Show

In addition to the displays of classic and specialty cars, the Classic will feature:

·         Sale of Official Woodward Dream Cruise merchandise

·         A DJ playing 50s and 60s music;

·         Food provided by Coldstone Creamery and the Marian High School Dads Club;

·         Bleacher seating;

·         Portable toilets and a hand-washing unit.

Spots are available for owners of classic and specialty cars to enter their vehicles in the show. Two tax-deductible entry fees are available at $75 and $50. The $75 entry fee comes with an Official Woodward Dream Cruise shirt valued at $25.00. Participants will enjoy easy in and out access all day.

The event will also showcase the work of automotive engineering students from area universities, displaying cars they have designed and built.

This year, Bloomfield Township is pleased to have two corporate sponsors support the Classic Car Show. Clients and friends of Krug and Associates, a financial investment firm based in Clarkston, will be joining us this year under a tent set up on the south end of the Mercedes lot. They’ll enjoy seeing all the unique cars, yours included, registered at the Classic.

Superformance, the largest and oldest distributor of hand-built reproductions and Continuation series of racing car legends from the 1960s, will bring a 53’ double-decked trailer stacked with magnificent hand-built reproductions that may include such models as a GT40  ‘continuation’, Shelby Cobra, Shelby Daytona Coupe and the Mark III roadster. This display will be located at Comerica Bank along with the car clubs.

Proceeds from car registrations, parking and sponsorships all go to help fund the programs of local charities: Bloomfield Township Police Benevolent Fund, Bloomfield Township Fire Department Charities and the Bloomfield Hills Optimist Club.
