Clean Sweep
On the weekend of April 21-22, 2007,
Bloomfield Township and Waste Management will be sponsoring
the second annual “Clean Sweep.” The program is intended
to clean up debris from the safety paths and roadways that has
been deposited during the winter season.
Bloomfield Township is calling upon all community members
to volunteer and lend a helping hand. The program will
be a fun way for individuals, homeowner associations, scout
troops, church groups, school organizations and any others to
take an active role in their community.
The Township will be providing orange garbage bags and
paper yard waste bags for the litter and debris. The first 500
volunteers to register will receive an official Clean Sweep
t-shirt and to recognize and thank those who participate, all
groups will receive a Certificate of Appreciation for
volunteering their time and effort.
For more information and to register your group, please
contact the Department of Public Works at 248.433.7709 or
complete the form below. All forms should be received by
April 16, 2007.
