Classic Car Show

The Bloomfield Township Classic is a car show that coincides with the famous Woodward Dream Cruise. It will take place Saturday, Aug. 19, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The Classic is dedicated to showcasing a wide variety of classic and special interest autos ranging from a 1942 Bentley speedster to cruising favorites like ‘69 Camaros and ‘57 T-Birds.

The Classic takes place just feet from the action on Woodward Ave. in the parking area of Mercedes-Benz of Bloomfield Hills, just south of Big Beaver. It is free to the public so be sure to mark your calendar and join the fun.

The Classic was developed as a community event designed to give Bloomfield Township residents, many of whom own interesting cars but don’t regularly show them, a venue from which to enjoy the largest one-day car event in the world.

But more than a car show, the Bloomfield Township Classic is also a charitable event. Net proceeds benefit three local charities – Oakland Family Services, the Bloomfield Fire Department Charities and the Bloomfield Hills Optimists. Together, these three groups meet community needs ranging from foster child placement and care to funding special camps for young burn victims.

A true community event, the Classic is planned and executed by Township residents who love cars and the Township they call home.
