Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees Appoints Corinne Khederian to fill Open Spot

At its regular meeting on September 12, 2011, the Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees unanimously appointed Corinne Khederian to fill the position vacated by Leo Savoie, who was appointed to the position of Supervisor in July.

“Serving my community is a privilege and I enthusiastically look forward to working on the Board for the residents of Bloomfield Township,” Ms. Khederian said in a prepared statement. “Having served as a member of the Township's Zoning Board of Appeals since 2003, and chairing it since 2005, I have had unique experience in interacting with the community. That will help me transition into my new role as Township Trustee."

Ms. Khederian has lived in Bloomfield Township for 19 years. An attorney by profession, she has been active in the Republican Party and since 2007 has been the Director of District Affairs for Michigan State Senator John Pappageorge. She is married and the mother of two school-aged children.

Her term on the Board of Trustees will expire in November, 2012.
