Payment Options
The Bloomfield Township Treasurer’s Office processes
payments for:
- Real and personal property tax statements
- Dog tags
- Water & Sewer Division billing
- Planning & Building Department billing
- General revenue billing
The Treasurer’s Office is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to
4:30 PM. Cash and personal checks are accepted at Township
Hall.
Bloomfield Township now accepts tax and water bill payments
by credit card and by direct deposit. You may make payments
either online or by phone.
Credit Card Payments
To pay by credit card over the phone, simply call Official
Payments Corp. toll free at 800.2PAY.TAX (800.272.9829) and
follow the instructions. You will be prompted to enter a
Jurisdiction Code, which is 3233. You will be
informed of the convenience fee, which will be based on the
amount you are paying. You will be given a confirmation
number at the end of the call, which you should keep for your
records. Your payment will be posted on the next
business day.
To pay by credit card over the internet, simply

A LL CHARGE BACKS or REVERSALS MADE AFTER POSTING
WILL BE ASSESSED A $30.00 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE.
Customer Initiated Direct Deposit Payments
Be sure to read completely before processing payment!
To initiate a direct deposit payment over the phone, simply
call 800.438.9926, enter the appropriate access code from
below, and follow the instructions.
To initiate a direct deposit payment over the internet
click on the DIRECT DEPOSIT links below.
Access codes:
1. Water bill payments: 3470
2. Real and personal property taxes: 3468
This is a free service provided by Bloomfield Township.
You will need to know:
1. Your water account number or tax parcel number,
2. The routing and checking/savings account numbers of the
account you want debited, and
3. The amount of the payment. Be sure to include any interest
or penalties due.
All direct deposit payments will be posted in two (2)
business days. (For example, payments made on Friday will be
posted on Tuesday; payments made on Tuesday will be posted on
Thursday.) Please make sure you make your payment in enough
time for it to be processed before the due date!
