Project Description

Birmingham Country Club has completed improvements to their tennis complex area along Saxon Drive, to include the addition of four heated platform tennis courts, an addition to the existing pro shop building, a new warming hut with a rear patio and gas fire pit, and related site improvements. The Pro Shop addition and exterior of the warming hut consist of brick, wood siding, and wood trim to match the existing pro shop building materials. Brick piers and iron metal fencing create an entry gate from the parking area.

Project Area

The project includes a new warming hut building, a building addition and the addition of platform tennis courts with related site improvements. The existing ingress and egress from Saxon Drive has been redesigned to create a one way traffic movement with angled parking to enter near the cross street of Wentworth Street and connect to the existing club entrance driveway. The Birmingham Country Club is located east of Cranbrook Road, between Saxon Drive in Beverly Hills and Northlawn Boulevard in Birmingham.
