Approved Commercial Development

Piepers Pies is located in the Kingswood Plaza shopping center at Woodward Avenue and Square Lake Road in the detached building with a drive-through. This unique shop incorporates natural ingredients in making both savory and sweet handheld breakfast, lunch and dinner pies.  Piepers opened its doors to the community in December of 2009.  Click here for map.

Somerset Dog Grooming has joined the shops of Kingswood Plaza at Woodward Avenue and Square Lake Road. New to Bloomfield Township, but not new to the area, Somerset Dog Grooming offers full service dog grooming in a stress-free environment. Click here for map.

Fredrick Jewelers relocated its business three suites west of its previous location in the Bloomfield Village Square Plaza. The façade of the building was redesigned with accents of rich marble and brick creating a distinguished appearance. Fredrick Jewelers offers a variety of designer jewelry and has recently obtained a gem dealers license. Click here for map.

Sears Outlet store occupies a section of the existing Kmart store on Telegraph Road north of Square Lake Road. Sears Outlet and Kmart share an entrance that leads to their store operations. Click here for map.

Papa Romano’s has joined the businesses at the corner of Maple Road and Cranbrook Road in the Maple Cranbrook Shops. The shop was renovated and opened February 2010 for business Super Bowl weekend. Click here for map.

Long Lake Market renovated the interior of their store and incorporated cottage style architecture and crisp colors creating a fresh façade to the existing building. Long Lake Market has been in business for decades, providing the community with fresh produce and a variety of specialty grocery items. Click here for map.

A.V. Bogaerts, P.C. Architecture recently updated their building by replacing the existing brick veneer façade with Fon Du Lac Limestone. The new stone façade is a welcomed improvement, incorporating quality and timeless materials as encouraged by the Township. Click here for map.

The American Red Cross has relocated within the Township to its newly renovated first floor corner suite within an existing office building on Telegraph Road, south of Long Lake Road. The renovation of the 4,000 square foot suite was completed in March of 2010 to accommodate the American Red Cross operation. Click here for map.

Upcoming New and/or Renovated Businesses

CAVA Medical Group is currently renovating the interior and exterior of an existing office building on Woodward Avenue, south of Square Lake Road. A team of cardiologists and associated medical professionals will occupy the building. In addition to the building renovations, a new parking lot is proposed with additional landscaping.
