FIREFIGHTER / PARAMEDIC

The Bloomfield Township Fire Department is now accepting applications for its entry-level Firefighter/Paramedic eligibility list. Firefighter duties include fire suppression, emergency medical response, hazardous materials, confined space, public education and other related duties.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Thursday, March 1, 2012 before 5:30 PM

ALL QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF THESE COMPLETED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS WHEN SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WITH MISSING REQUIRED DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

• Must be 18 years of age
• NO Felony Convictions
• State of Michigan Firefighter 1 & 2 Certification
• State of Michigan Paramedic License
• Minimum 60 credit hours from accredited college / university. Must provide college transcripts
• Current Certificates of Passing from the Conference of Western Wayne (CWW) Firefighter Testing Program. Written and CPAT tests. CLICK HERE for 2012 testing information or call 734.462.4806
• Candidates must also pass drug screening, background investigation, psychological exam, multiple oral interviews and post offer physical
