Bloomfield Township recently restructured its public service operations to form two new departments, Public Works and Engineering & Environmental Services. This was accomplished without an increase in personnel and will streamline operations to provide more efficient services.

The new Engineering and Environmental Services Department provides engineering support in observing private development and managing Township capital improvement projects. It also manages several programs that have potential impact on our community’s public health or environment.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide professional engineering and environmental services in a respectful and efficient manner, which safeguards the Township’s public infrastructure and natural resources for the well being of our residents.
