Development
Site improvements for new private and public development
projects take a great deal of planning and engineering.
The Engineering and Environmental Services Department provides
plan review and construction inspection services to assure
proposed site developments comply with the engineering design
and construction requirements established by Township
ordinances and State Law.
Plan Review
The Engineering and Environmental Services Department
coordinates the plan review for engineering plans with the
Township’s engineering consultants for proposed site and
utility improvements submitted to the Township with new public
and private developments. Engineering plans are reviewed in
accordance with the Township’s
Engineering Design Ordinance No. 167 (PDF file).
Construction Inspection
Construction inspection is coordinated through the
Engineering and Environmental Services Department for site
development to assure the improvements are completed according
to the approved engineering plans as well as use of acceptable
materials and methods in accordance with the Township’s
Engineering Standard
