The Township's four elected Trustees sit on the Township
Board along with the three Township officers. Together, they
act as the Township's major policy-making body as well as
exercise legislative functions. As private citizens, the
Trustees are committed to maintaining the desirability of
their home community and enhancing its uniqueness.
They each have four-year terms which run through

David B. Buckley
B. Buckley was appointed to the Board of Trustees in
November, 2002. He was elected to the position in November,
2004 and reelected in 2008 and 2012. He previously served as
an Oakland County Commissioner from 2000 – 2002. He has also
held several leadership roles within the Oakland County
Republican Party and served as a precinct delegate for 14
years. In prior Township service, he served on the Solid
Waste Review committee and chaired the Citizens’ Committee
to Preserve Police, Fire and EMS Services.
David holds a business degree from Michigan State
University and is a sales executive for Sanofi-Aventis. He
holds the professional designations of CLU, ChFC and RHU.
He enjoys serving his community in others ways, recently
completing ten years on the Board of Directors for the
American Diabetes Association, Michigan and three years on
its Executive Committee. David currently serves as Board
President of the Down Syndrome Guild of Southeast Michigan.
He and his wife, Jane, have two sons. David is a lifetime
resident of Bloomfield Township.
Neal J. Barnett
Barnett was appointed to the Board of Trustees in February
2004 to fill the vacancy created by the death of Jerry
Tobias. He was elected to the position in November 2004 and
reelected in 2008 and 2012. Neal was a member and vice-chair
of the Bloomfield Township Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) and
is currently a member of the Planning Commission and the
Election Commission. He represents the Township on the
Executive Committee of the Bloomfield Youth Guidance Board
and serves as its Chair. He also represents the Township in
joint activities with Bloomfield Hills Schools. He also
serves on the Gilbert Lake Board. Neal has served as
President of the Oakland Hills Country Club Subdivision
Association Board since 2000 and was a member of that Board
for eight years. He grew up in Bloomfield Township and
graduated from Groves High School. He has a law degree from
Wayne State University Law School, a master's degree in
clinical psychology from Oakland University and an
undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. He is
Managing Partner in the law firm of Sills, Charboneau &
Barnett, P.C. Neal and his wife have three children; twin
daughters and a son.
Kepes was unanimously appointed to the Board of Trustees in
March, 2009 and elected by the voters of Bloomfield Township
in November 2010. He was reelected in 2012. He was a Member
and Chaired both The Bloomfield Township Tax Board of
Review, since 1994, and The Zoning Board of Appeals, since
1995. A Michigan State University graduate, he majored in
Accounting and earned his Certified Public Accounting
designation while employed at PriceWaterhouse. In 1989, he
founded and is currently President of SRK Realty Company,
Inc. and SRK Management Company, Inc. which specializes in
the ownership, management, brokerage and development of
commercial properties throughout Michigan.
He has demonstrated long-term active leadership roles in a
number of community organizations, including Bloomfield
Township based Fresh Air Society/Tamarack Camps and The
Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. He is a member of
The International Council of Shopping Centers, The Hundred
Club of Detroit, and The Michigan State University
He and his wife, Fern, are the proud parents of a daughter
and a son and a Bloomfield-licensed canine, Lucille.
Khederian was appointed by a unanimous vote to the
Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees in September 2011 to
fill a vacancy created when Trustee Leo Savoie was appointed
Township Supervisor. Prior to this, Corinne served as a
member and Chair of the Township’s Zoning Board of Appeals
since 2003. She first became an active member of the
Township community when she actively campaigned for the
safety millage in 2002.
Corinne is a graduate of the State University of New York at
Binghamton with a major in political science and a minor in
communications. She also graduated from Syracuse University
College of Law and has practiced law in New Jersey and New
Corinne currently serves as Director of District Affairs for
State Senator John Pappageorge and has done so since 2007.
She is active in her community serving as room mother at her
children’s schools, organizing efforts to assist troops
overseas, chairing a national scholarship organization,
co-chairing the Armenia Fest Committee for the state of
Michigan, and serving as a Board member of the Birmingham
Bloomfield Community Coalition.
In addition, she serves as a Precinct delegate for her area
and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Oakland
County Republican Party as well as having served as Vice
Chair of the Party in 2008. Corinne is also President of the
Birmingham Republican Women’s Club and serves as 1st Vice
President of the Republican Women’s Federation of Michigan.
Corinne is married to Richard Khederian and they are the
proud parents of a son and a daughter. They have been
residents of Bloomfield Township since 1992.
