Filming in Bloomfield Township

Bloomfield Township has had experience facilitating film crews in town for national and even international events. The 2004 Ryder Cup and the 2008 PGA Championship were held in Bloomfield Township at Oakland Hills Country Club. Both events, broadcast to millions of people all over the world, went off without a hitch.

Bloomfield Township offers great settings for full-length films, made-for-TV movies, documentaries, and commercials. In fact, the Township was a site for some of the scenes in recent projects such as “Prayers for Bobby” and the HBO series, “Hung.”
